So today I didn't go to bed till like 4:30 this morning and woke up at 7:50, so lets just say the day started out very cloudy and drowsy...
After picking up my sister Liz and her friend Alli, and after meeting the new puppy in their house names Kirby, we were off to Morton, IL for the Pumpkin Festival; and of course I slept the whole way there.
Apon arriving, my dad, mom, sister, Alli, and me all stood around for an hour waiting for the parade to begin...and it was funny, the theme for this year was Christmas and it was very strange because it was so hot and sunny...
After the parade we spent the day eat everything made of pumpkins and looking at different crafts created by about 50 vendors...mom bought a wooden carved pumpkin and it should look amazing on the front porch. We also bought a few treats for the cats and dogs.
After buying some elephant ears...yummy treats we haven't eaten in our family since we use to go to Earl Park fall festival. Almost 16 years for me...
We then came home...were I slept on the drive then slept till about 7pm at home...
I didn't realize that I got burned a little...find it kind of funny...hahaha....
Well I have to wait for my sister to give me a call to go pick her up from a bachelorette party eventually...Seems like fun...

Weekend at Home
Today was a very loooong day...
Starting out not going to bed till about 3:00am didn't help trying not to fall asleep in History class. But it all went well and I stayed awake and got all the notes done.
The rest of the day went well, I took a Anthropology final and I couldn't believe everything I forgot about what people did what...But I believe I did a good job on it...don't expect a back grade.
Then after classes I got in my car and went driving two hours to get home...damn traffic was crazy!! But I made it home safely and even helped to clean out my gutters and put on gutter protectors. Had a good summer and enjoyed watching television with my parents. Tomorrow I get to go to a pumpkin festival...hahaha...can't wait to see what it is all about. ;)

Another long Wednesday...
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are always such long days for me! Three classes that are all very close together always wears me out and make me skip lunch! I'M SO HUNGRY!!
Luckily I didn't almost fall asleep in my classes today. History went well, I feel like I'm learning a whole lot more than I did in APUSH, but then again that class was almost four years ago. Lots of information can be lost from ones brain by then. Luckily though I've found a rhythm of note taking for the class and it is getting easier for the new Prof. to talk infront of the class and answer questions.
I've been talking with many advisors for the past couple of days and I think I've found a plan that I really enjoy and can get done with in four years. Major in History like I'm doing so far, but add on Anthropology and Art History as minors. I know it will take a lot of work and A LOT of reading, but I'm not worried. I really enjoy this material. The books that we are reading in History are actually quite interesting.
Antropology went well...no complaints besides the fact the teacher needs to learn went to start the clicker questions. Start it up at 3 minutes till the end of class with 200 students needing to answer 3 questions isn't the best idea ever!
Now French is another matter. Don't get me wrong I have enjoyed taking it for the past 6 years, but I feel like I've come to a point were I'm ready to move on to more languages for the sake of having a job! Talking with advisors has shown me that I need to learn Latin, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, and Greek.....How am I suppose to get that done if all I've been taking is French classes! UGH! Hopefully everything will work out though...I'm thinking summer courses in the language classes which will keep me on track.
well....I'm off to take a nap before FLRP dinner tonight...maybe I'll post again later tonight...

Tuesdays are very simple days...
I really hate working in groups for college courses. No one ever gets together, there is no sure fire way to get a hold of everyone, and there is always the one person who does nothing! Sociology 170 you can kiss my ass!
Now that I got that rant out of the way I can focus on the wonderful day I've had...a very simple and beautiful day...
First the day started with my alarm not going off at the right time for some reason, heck I don't even know if it went off to begin with I was so tired from staying up till 4am! oops!
Because of these events I thought, oh dear! It is going to be a bad day, but no, the world surprised me.
I got to my Sociology class 15 minutes early and began to read more of my History reading and then class started, this class isn't very interesting to many and sometimes not even to me so I'll just skip ahead to lunch....
I ate lunch with David Boveri and Kel...I don't know his last name, I really should get on that...
We had fun discussions about how different populations have different sweat smells, Like when you walk into a room you can tell what, or who has been there...Also discussed how the old slang word "spirit" use to mean "ejaculation/semen" and Kel proceeds to say "Spirited Away"!
After lunch I walked to Theatre class with Soco (a freshman) and David. We had discussions about PE teachers and very naughty teachers.
In Theatre class I got to act out a little scene with another guy who was really cool and really fun! We got to be secret agents asking about what time it was and what the plans were the night before...VERY FUNNY!
Then I just came back to the Dorms and did my French homework...so all I need to do is some more reading, always reading...so I am off to nap because I need it to focus for Sociology project and reading for every class basicly!
XOXO *wink*

First Post! Wheee!!
I have decided that I am bored with making up fake blogs and want to write one on my own. I know my life is very normal and boring, but it could be fun to just blog about nothingness. I mean, I do things besides sit in my room all the time. Even though that is what I am doing now and have been doing for a while now, but that is because I have been studying. History 260 is kicking my butt with reading as well as Sociology 170. Thank goodness I like to spend my time reading at the library and outside in the sun.
One of the greatest things has happened recently to me! YES, something interesting I promise!
I will be traveling to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with my Brazilian boyfriend. Going to visit his family and to go relax in the sun. I plan to come back darker than anyone else on the floor. I am really happy that I get to go because it has been up in the air for a while...I leave December 22, 2009 and I return January 7th, 2010!
Well, I have to continue with my reading or I will get behind and I really don't want that.
